USB port dead on Skybox f5 :-(

As per title, was workng ( about 6 months ago) went to put in new AJ's and nothing, wont recognise any USB of any format. Can I upgrade the list via RS232? and if so how please?

Might be worth just pinching the end of the usb and making sure there is no fluff in it on the connectors you can update using the lan tool make sure you read up how to use it first

Titch, thanks m8, yes Ive cleaned the contacts on the USB male & female, no joy, I'll look into the LAN thing now, thanks :-)

check centre core is not touching the outer core on your sat cable

Right - got the tool, its found the IP of the box but wont connect, The password on the tool is masked, what is the password? and do I have to do anthing box end for connection, I REALLY want to get this tool to work as it looks SOOOOOO handy !
