Just a little info on channel names etc my box was still showing tom hanks channel name which is now named sly superheroes to overcome this on cable side i did a manual channel scan taking note of the frequency number, qam number and baud number of that channel etc input the numbers and i selected and highlighted the nit setting to on and fta to no and search etc should now rescan for the channels and find new channel name etc if you already have the channel in your favourites it will automatically change the name to new channel name etc if not just add it to your favs category etc also noticed volume amplification up and down on some channels occasionally i found that if the volume is set to full on the v8 and operate volume from tv instead it was ok
