Vermin broadband only sub (no TV package)

Greetings forum members.

Not often I post, I usually find all my answers in the searches.
I am sure this one will have been asked before but I could not find a clear answer on it.

Vermin TV and BroadBand come through the same cable.
So if you subscribe to VM broadband alone, is that sufficient for there to be a live TV feed also? Or are these somehow activated independently by Vermin.

Having broadband will make the cable "live" for TV usually.

i have just bb and no tv package and still get tv feed.

me too, bb only will be fine, just add a splitter so you have a feed
to your router and one to your box

I don't have any service with VM,
But, the girl next door has and the junction box is on my house

I know it is used for sat but I use them all the time for cable and have
never had an issue, it's just got a bigger range.

yes a bigger range to allow interference in.

Yep, I get that, but from experience the splitter works fine especially
with a good set of leads, not a £5 ebay kit.
