Hi all
did i pick this up right you can get a line for cable for southern irl ?
Back in the day i had a starview & kyrpetview box's till it all when nagra3 then made the move into sat c/s.
Would like to get back into cable rather than IPTV I would really appreciate if anybody could point me in the direction of a thread that gives a list of different box types and how to set up

Plenty boxes in the zgemma range with cable tuners if you can stretch you budget i would opt for vu range with cable tuners .also must an active vm cable line .......

+1 for Bees guide posted above.

I went at this a few weeks ago on a Saturday and had the box up and running in a couple of hours including making the cables etc. My advice is not to scrimp on the cable or splitter quality. I got a decent splitter in Maplins and used wf100 cable. I have had no problems with signal.

Then once set up its a matter of waiting to get an offer of a line. I know that there is a large demand at present. There is a sticky thread to put a request for a line in. Be prepared to wait though. I've been waiting for two weeks already.
