VIX or OPEN ATV on Zgemma H2

I will be getting a Zgemma H2 to use on a Virgin cable line. Can anyone tell me which image is best to use, VIX or Open ATV?, is one faster than the other? does now have more features than the other?

I don't know much about images/firmware's.

Also once I buy a line, do I need to use a specific image like the one in the downloads section or can I use the official VIX or Open ATV?

I prefer to use the latest rather than someone's back up but it easy for starters, as for best image that will be up to you to decide......vix has the most support here but its not officially supported by OpenVix and is patched to run on the ibox/zgemma, OpenATV is supported officially, ATV support is growing on here as more people use it, a member called MTPockets will give you help up and above if you choose ATV.
I use vix because I'm so used to it I can set up a box in less than 30 mins from scratch......why don't you read the tutorials and try both??
