VU Duo clone v3.0 not reading usb

Hi

Has anyone ever seen this? I have a v3.2 duo which flashes fine via usb and picked up a v3.0 today for another room. When putting the usb in and powering on the box it does not read the USB and boots to blackhole.

4GB flash FAT32
Used every port
Tried to use a another 8GB drive same thing
 
yep well known issue with fussy usbs,before flashing box better know if its a clone or original and if bootloader is needed.maybe boxes are not the same??

try another usb.

Cheers yeah its a clone. Has V3.0 on the back of it.

What is bootloader?
 
bootloader is a box update to run newer images,however they are box dependant and not one for all,i dont use clones so cannot advise whats to use so as box does not die.
only use patched firmware and not for originals.

Would the bootloader cause it to refuse to even read the USB?
