vu solo 4k using oscam on openvix - newbie with no joy

Been trying to follow the various guides for setting up oscam but having got the status looking ok the log shows an init error on reader and no suitable readers. Any help greatly appreciated.

but you need to convert your line to oscam

use cccam to oscam converter place the reader in
var-tuxbox-config-oscam.server

Thanks for the info. Been back through using the convert and ftp'd in to place. Still get the init error after restarting oscam. Do I need a particular build?

you should have about 6 files in config what have you got in yours

im at work now but if you are stuck
i can look tomorrow and sort via TeamViewer about 5.30 tomorrow night

ccache, conf, dvbapi,provid,server,srvid2 and user

is it worth dropping the extension, deleting files in tuxbox\config and installing again? Probably have a go but might need to take up your offer.

Dropped and installed again. Have moved on to get a few frames every minute or two.

did you install oscam from plugings

When I tried from plugins I didn't seem to get all the files so i got ipk for 11342.

remove it then try reboot

sorry, I should have updated. Since reinstall I now have ccache, conf, dvbapi, server srvid2 and user (oscam.) files.

oscam ipk was not right so delted and added my oscam file
attributtes on files all wrong
the main one was line not working
