Wireless Booster

Hi guys,
I've been struggling for some time now to get a solid wireless connection upstairs in particular one of the bedrooms, I've used two providers and both are the same and both are/were fibre and my last one used their provided booster but still doesn't work so I'm hoping someone may know of a good wireless booster that I can try that doesn't cost the earth or another solution, thanks.

Have you tried moving your wireless box?
move it to an open area, and put it as high as you can

move it away from cordless phone things like that


wouldnt cost much to try
 
I've got a extender reel somewhere so I can move the phone so I'll have a shifty about and move stuff round, hopefully it works, if not i'll be back, thanks for replying [emoji1360]

Try changing the wireless channel, and download WiFi apps off app store and it will tell you which wireless channel is best in that room if you stand in it with the phone

I gave up with wireless on my upstairs and got home plugs. So much better

I've used TP-LINK TL-WPA4220KIT AV500 Powerline 300M Wi-Fi Extender/Wi-Fi Booster/Hotspot in the past. Great bit of kit
