xbmc on pc

Hi guys. is xbmc on a pc as good as an android box .if android box is better which box should i get.

I use both, albiet a laptop for versatility. The Cyclone X4 is a decent little box Link here ------>>> Cyclone Android X4

theres new stb out now that's totally dedicated to xbmc/kodi but there not cheap.they come in 3 different versions starting at about £230 upwards.!! they have high end intel internals and processors and is known by the name Prometheus from liberty tv

Just joined the forum guys and am thinking of building an HTPC. Do you think it is worth buying all of the parts to build one or is the small android boxes just as good. Maybe this should be in a new thread but the topic seems similar to my question.

small android boxes are ok mm4 they do the job.i think as long as you have decent broadband feed then there fine. the I use quad cored with 2gb ram 8gb storage running on the latest kit kat os. think I payed about £5o for it. I also use a Bluetooth airmouse/keyboard which is a must in my opinion for the android box. the remote is ok but slow if you need to enter text..!! there about a tenner from flea bay
