Hi

On my v1rgin 'ivo box I could rewind live tv, its as if the box was constantly recording what I was watching in case I wanted to rewind it, can I do this with the LX2 box at all?

In theory you can, haven't tried it using this box, but I guess you will
need a pretty quick HDD, something along the lines of USB 3.0

yes its called Timeshift you just set it up in timeshift settings..most images have this set up as default though but you can change the time it starts like after 2 5 10 seconds etc after you zap to a channel.
Any hard drive or usb is fine as long as it has enough space..timeshifts are automatically deleted on channel change..

I have a 32GB USB 3.0 drive pluged into my box and it timeshifts fine. I would suggest you have a larger drive, atleast 16gb to cope with files, updates and recordings.

Thanks, I only have a 16gb usb in mine but intend to put a 2.5inch hard drive into a caddy and plug it in.

I will check my time shift settings
