xtrend 8500 help

i have a 8500 box set up with both cable and sat feed
however when i got from viewing sat to cable there seems to be a long delay before a picture feeds through
am i doing something wrong as i thought it would be more or less a second or so
im using mgcam 1.38

Shouldn't be a long delay when switching between sat and cable channels.
Maybe try a new mg_cfg file from the downloads section.
mgcam1.38 & newcamd.list & mg_cfg - Downloads - TechKings
You only need the mG_cfg file.

Replace the current file in usr/keys/ with the one in that link.
