YouTube Problems on iPhone

Recently been having a few issues with YouTube - videos load but don't play.

The loading bar fills up so to show the whole contents have been downloaded but it just won't play. If you keep pressing play button it plays for a second or maybe less and then stops again.

Downloaded and installed another app that downloads YouTube videos and that does the same.

If I reset all settings it works for a while but then same problem. Been searching the web and peeps saying YouTube is down.

Could this be the issue or could it be the latest iOS update?

Anyone else having issues and anyone know how to fix this?

Hi there,
Good idea to try this with another app. As both are doing the same then I would try another internet connection (good known wifi network). Have you changed anything except the iOS update? I don't think that the iOS update is the error.
