Zgemma H2H Back Up Using Virgin Skin

This is my full backup for the zgemmah2h designed around virgin for a change. includes chabs's (thanks mate) virgin red hd skin and also the purple TiVo skin installed for you to decide which one you preffer. I have edited a line in dreambox explorer so should just be a case of edit it with your own and restart cams. This is my first attempt at this as I couldn't find one based around virgin so followed kiddas easy to follow guide to setting up a bare ones image and here we are (not exactly barebones but...) so thankyou kiddac :) I have been using this for a few weeks though with no issues. This is based on openatv so ota updates are as safe as possible I have sky set up aswell as I use both but its easy enough to disable tunner A if only using virgin. This literally should ust be a case of flashing editing net id with your own, editing your line downloading epg and done. I have installed...
ABM (set to update at 5am)
Dream explorer
iptv player
Snp picons (full cable and sat)
epg-refresh (had missing cable info this fxed it)
cache flush (I like info on only set for one second can be disabled)
openwebif

I also have panic button enabled press 0 will get took back to 101 almost instantly hopeffuly faster than the missus on the stairs anyway ;)
this build is pretty quick think I timed 40 0dd seconds from first turn on to watching tv don't no if the picons slow it down but am happy with it


unzip file
place zgemma file on formatted usb
flash as normal
remove usb once flashed

welcome all feedback as enjoyed this so up for trying to make it better

I downloaded
placed file on formatted usb
rear port
power on at back
usb appear on front display
hold front power till flsh appears
let box boot up
remove usb
your up and running

any questions or problems just let me no.

Hey Dilly, I have edited your thread title as Zgemma H2s did not say what the thread was about, I also added spaces between your photos, just for visual purposes (make it look pretty lol)

Hi dillyp70.

Did the extract zgemma folder to a newly formatted fat32 usb drive and used the rear slot.
One thing i did notice was that compared to others i have tried their was a file called splash.bin missing from yours and you have a noforce file as apposed to a force file. Not sure if this is the issue as i am new to all this.

If it has a no force file turn off box using the back power button insert usb in back and switch on using back button then you should see usb press and hold the front power button till it says flash.
The splash.bin isn't important it's just the initial bootscreen screen
 
Hi all, now I manadged to flash the box with a new pendrive
I used one of virgin skin back up which says everything is done all I have to do is delete and put in my line and netID
but still not working
I believe it could be the way to put in the line
help please I'm losing all my her:fear::beg:
 
Was having problems getting my H2H to work and thought I'd give your image a go, had it working in under an hour. Like a lot of newbies its not until the thing actually works do you realise where you've been going wrong and how much time you've wasted on dead end attempt to get channels working. My biggest problem was that I had a C line and no CCcam.cfg to put it into in the backups I had tried. Image choice is important and dillyp70's working backup, VM, Openatv and CCcam included gets me up and running and I'll worry about personalising it later.
 
hi all,i went away,just got back,i have still not got my h2h up and running I want to start from scratch
all along I have been using mgcamd so want to try cccam but I'm using virgin and someone told me i can only use mgcamd
help please

are there any skins at all i can flash to my zgemma star lc getting frustrated as hell theres things for everything else nout for this
 
sorry mate yes a backup image ive tried 2 already and ive flashed the zgemma star fine and used wooshbuild but cant find nothing for these
 
I think dangerous had a play with the lc but he didn't like it but made a backup pm him and see if he can give you it.

If your still having problems with it start a new thread rather than posting in this thread because its for a backup for the h2h and will get confusing.

couple of questions will the channels be in order like vm?

Yes this is using sly and vm so has a sly boquet and cable boquet all in order eg entertainment sports.
Also epg set to update at 5am daily time can be adjusted in settings.
 
The LC is absolute garbage guys it states even on the box 750mhz same as H1 but i looked in the information actually on the box itself and its actually 610mhz so even slower i sent it back and bought a H2H

so will i see sly channels also? as i dont want to see them cuz me only using vm seems messy with both
is there a option to turn off the sly side?

Disable tunner a

Then just delete sky uk from providers there is a backup by biohead using just cable you could look at.
 
Hi I have zgemma star s2 running wooshbuild I qant the virgin media theme /skin would this image work on s2
