hi....I've reflashed my box with w/build v5 due to it getting stuck in boot mode when updating.the problem now is it won't record off the timer,it will record the channel I'm watching ok and also pause and rewind live tv ..when recording of the timer it says it's recording but when I go to watch it the program is there but won't play just a blank screen...I've got the recording setting as
Default movie location...../media/hdd/movie
Timer recording location....../media/hdd
Instant recording location...../media/hdd
Preferred tuner for recordings......auto
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong as I'm sure these were the settings I used before

Are both LNB connections from your dish connected properly to the back of the box? I would check the signal levels on Tuner A and Tuner B
 
Worth checking your tuner configuration Setup -> Service searching -> Tuner configuration. Make sure Tuner B is configured to be "Equal to" Tuner A. When I first flashed my box Tuner B was set to "Not configured".
 
Still no joy in recording a different channel to the one I'm watching...is there a way to test that both tuners are working although I'm getting a signal to both of them
