i`ve set both tuners to northampton netid 00018 save also provders to 00018 northampton it fines sweet f all looked in single finder nothing 154,75mhz 3/4 6952oam nothing but if i move it i get a few channels just what should it be set at ?

how are you scanning? are you doing an abm scan or automatic/manual scan in service searching. Just running a scan in Autobouquetsmaker should be enough

I had a friend, yest. from same area, H5 2tc, working fine, but when trying to scan getting tuner failed...?? i have sent a new freshly set up box.. but i am thinking it was area related?? he will get box tomorrow, so i will keep you informed.. running Ipab 1.36.. and on VM, with a live VM feed...

yes i have tryed both abm scan and manual however i can not see any service search i get turner fail but if i move the transponed and turn i get a few channels think grand kid did something on remote but what i`ve no idea turn ano config turned b tuner type dvd-c configuration mode enababled network id 00018 user service scan type provider country uk region virgin media all system then same with turner c .then into provider vimit uk area 00018 delate bouquets then auto scan picks nothing up but if i move transder i get a few channels hope this make sence

Try Vermin uk.. then area..[ pure...ntl...telewest] whatever is your area m8

Check out a local legit vermin box, to see if you have the correct netid for your area m8

if you have no sat feed you need to disable the sat tuner
