I've set up cable on the box all working clearing all channels but when take to friends house same NetID no channels will clear even Freeview and he has a active line as he as vmedia isp any sugesuggest please

set the dns (name server on the box) to Google’s 8.8.8.8 on 1 and 8.8.4.4 on number 2 then restart network make sure the settings stayed then restart cam.

To get to dns settings:
menu>setup>system>network>device setup>nameserver settings
