zgemma s2

hi all i have a zgemma 2s box was working fine till lastnight boox stuck on boot, do i have to format the box again or is there a way round it thanks

There seem to be alot of members waking up to there zgemma boxes stuck on boot lately. you need to tell us more what you may have done the night before. what image and build you or using, any plugins you have added lately. if using a hdd or usb for saving recording, also do you have a sd card plugged in all the time.

I am wondering if they are updating the box via Vix, maybe a setting needs to be disabled on a flashable build they are using, as I have a LX2 my box updates without issue but I know you can't do that with a zgemma running VIX

Just need to reflash.
Then do a backup for next time.

My S2 wouldn't take your flash Sucmnsee
infact it wouldn't take any flash from here
So I downloaded a flash from zgemma TV and it flashed no problem

The only thing now is its still stuck on boot with Open ATV splash screen on the TV

I can't access or function the box in anyway at all

I can FTP to the box
but with it being a stock flash "firmware" most files are missing

I need.to find a complete guide on how to set up a zgemma from scratch
