zgemma star 2s URGENT Help

Hi all Sorry for going over old ground i am a newbie to all this and a friend said you guys might be able to help me. So Sorry if going old ground.

So my zgemma star 2s apparently needs reflashing it was stuck on Boot.

So someone gave me the files and I put them in the back of box using a USB stick. Box states on front flash. Then goes to boot but still a black screen on tv and the box does nothing just says boot. after half hour says flash again.

can anyone Help??? or does anyone have the updated files so I know there correct ones? I think i found them on this site but wont let me download as I am a new user.

Sounds like you have got the wrong firmware.
What are you trying to put on the receiver? Open ATV openvix?
 
yes pal.

I dont know what firmware I am trying to put on. Very new to this and this is a very big learning curve for me.

Is there anywhere i can get the correct firmware from??
 
so I get it right first time lol

click link, then go to firmware,
click the box i have, then click and download the top firmware
unzip put on format usb
put in box.

dangerous I cant thank you enough.

box has booted up now.

can i be cheeky now is there anyway to get the sly skin back on?
 
Use the search function on the forum and search for slyk 1 skin. A lad on here called Kidda C made it. (I would link you to it but I'm on my phone, and can't do it)
You will need to download the Ipk file from his Dropbox then FTP it to temp folder. Full instructions are in the drop box
