OK mine is now working, open the oscam panel on your box, go to readers -> your line and check the following two boxes:


Drop CWs with wrong checksum:
Skip CWs checksum test:

and then save. I did this and now watching sky1 HD

and then click on readers and 'edit' your line and then tick the two boxes mentioned above and save.

MGCamd has to have something changed server side, try restarting cam to see if your provider has fixed it.
 
@grog68 - I hope you don't mind me creating a thread with your fix, it just seemed to be lost in the other thread, and others were creating resources (word documents with these instructions) instead of just creating a thread.

Hi . I’m trying this but mgcam 1.38 and obviously it doesn’t work . I’ve tried to install Oscam from plugins and it says no config file ,
 
@wheelo I created a PDF resource because it's easier for people to find it without it getting lost in loads of posts within the thread. I did credit @grog68 for the fix. I just made the instructions easily accessible to get hold of via resources. I find it helps me find solutions instead of rummaging through pages of comments.

The mgcamd fix isn't working, what openatv version needs to be installed I'm running 6.2, does it need updating to latest version for this fix to work
 
Anyone using mgcamd make sure you're using the latest version,
Green button> download plugin > softcams > mgcamd 1.45 (I think it might be 1 41 there's only one to pick anyhow)
If your server has been sorted it will work

Ignore this its stopped working
I think we need more info from some of the more clued up fellas, I'm running Grogbuild openatv 6.2 and I can't get the mgcand softcams to work, I'm getting ecm info, I have down loaded from plugins mgcamd 1.45 but it's not showing in my sofcam list, I'm still only seeing 1.38, anyone any ideas?

I've put this in my oscam.conf

disablecrccws_only_for = 0E00:000000;0500:050F00;098C:000000;09C4:000000;098D:000000;0500:030B00;1811:003311;1883:003311;1863:003342;1833:003311;1803:003343;1830:000000;1883:003311;1863:003343;1841:000000

Also ticked the 2 checkboxes in oscam reader channel comes on for about 30 seconds then nothing......
