Global IPTV gang shut down

I had it on my screen too, just find it rather strand that it was Suffolk and Norfolk when global streamed from Birmingham and why have others that have been shut recently not had screens like that showing up and surely it wouldn't be the police putting it up and would be fact or one of the others that have been setup to investigate it all. Police do raids but don't shut down unless things have changed.

Hollesley arrest over suspected illegal streaming operation

"During the warrant, officers were able to access and disrupt the online platform, disable the suspected illegal streams and deliver an on screen message to those who receive them warning that the content accessed is suspected to be unlawful.

Officers are aware that speculation is circulating online stating that the on screen message is a ‘hack’. However, recipients should be clear that this is a genuine police operation."

So this screen is scare mongering tactics to make people think twice.

Doubt it will work as even providers who are shut down, such customers could go elsewhere.

Never hit main stream media and anybody can say things like that and its not the first time that image has been used either, also one of the admin have said a different story. I was a GE customer and have seen them go down hill over the last 6 months with issues every week and channel numbers going down and the admin in question said the night before the group was getting archived and another admin said the next day before it all went off that they wouldn't be around forever.

It was on Suffolk Police official website though...

Global were resellers the guy in Norfolk was a supplier of streams and other illegal operations so possibly global were using his streams and saw it as an opportunity to do a runner from a failing service as they were getting to the point of being unusable.

Probably best for all concerned then, who wants to be tied to a crap iptv reseller who supplies unwatchable streams?

Had been with them for 3 years and over the last year problems started, service went down, less channels, more excuses and in the last 6 months it got even worse. I know many that had not long renewed with them too sadly.

More fool them for renewing a sub of a bad service then. What kind of prices were they charging?

Again even with the messages they are displaying. How serious will most take it?
Depends how much you Beleive whether it was police or a hack.
Only time will tell but from what's been posted a couple of posts up looked like was having problems week in week out. A few providers who started with blocks during lockdown has supposedly been shutdown

I remember a few years ago i was watching a something about a well known torrent site. And how ISPs will be cutting off people who downloaded stuff. In the next breath the reporter told people if they use a VPN people could download as much as they like and not get caught.
