What's new

Iptv block

i do realise. Initially there was a couple of automated responses, now nothing for a few days. Problem is, every customer who pays money for a sub, only wants to be kept updated
But then updating everyone day in day out puts less time to sort the most important thing out

Honest providers would be doing everything they can to get the issues fixed on their end.

Any abuse or whatever they get at this time ain't warranted.
I’m sure they will. Not all of us are very knowledgeable about how these things are set up and work. Like i said, hopefully things will get back to normal soon

That's fair enough.

But where a providers has 100s or 1000s of customers they aren't gona update everyone.

They may take a while but they will update all customers when they actually have an update.

Reminds me of my daughter fixing her car a while ago ringing me every half hour "" is it fixed yet "" and my reply was no it aint one of the bolts has sheared off and i need to source a new one which will take time.
Ok dad let me know when its done ok i said.
30 mins later is "it fixed yet dad"" no ive had to take it to the local garage because your so impatient and i cant concentrate and it will be done by tomorow morning and the quote is £340 and then the phone went silent for a few seconds before she spat the dummy out and i could not stop laughing and told her to stop whining i will sort it and since then she never phones or messages me again ffs lol 🤣🤣🤣

But if your last update was that they're working on it, the lack of updates mean they're still working on it. Believe me, nobody wants the iptv back up and running more than the guy who sold it to you - not only is he getting constant earache while it's down, he's also not selling any new subs or renewals so has zero income from something that's taking up a lot of his time.

If you have a VPN running there is no way your isp can see you are watching or block IPTV unless it is unsecure.
I doubt they are blocking VPNs as these are a legitimate security tool used by business and people who work from home.
Your IPTV supplier will not put a VPN on there side as it will reduce bandwidth.servers cost alot of money.

A VPN as mentioned will protect you and your supplier.

From what my provider tells me there are 2 things going on. Firstly there as ISP blocks where the big ISP's rolled out coordinated blocks on suspected IPTV services on football match days. Using a VPN fixes this issue. Secondly a data centre that was hosting several IPTV services received loads of copyright notices from the ISP's, resulting in them pulling the plug on all the IPTV servers in their data centre hence a lot of resellers are all completey off line with no access to their panels or servers. The providers who have been affected will have to find somewhere to host their servers and rebuild,I highly doubt they will honour existing customers subscriptions and will ask them to pay again for setup on their new platforms.

mine went off Saturday , he as given me new server details and my android stbemu is back on , I find it more reliable thru vpn, but I cant get my e2 xtreamtv working ive updated from 0.1.1 to 0.2.3 plugin as provider requested but just will not connect says some thing about no profile setup? do I need a code from supplier to get xtreamtv 0.2.3 working?

Don't you have to give your supplier a code? or iam i thinking of something else

yes you give them mac address from the app but looks like from xtream tv 0.2.3 looks like you need a code from your supplier to allow the plugin to create a profile , does anyone know if that's correct

The first bit is kind of correct they went after high traffic hence the big major blocks and some still blocked as I've said before some can get on with vpns some can't get on with vpns.
Then some can get on with no vpns needed as for several providers that's crap there was a lot more then 7 and not going into too much detail but I will say there is a sealed court order that's been issued to sly and other isps to after these particular things.

Exactly ISPs are ordered by courts to impose such blocks for illegal copyright content.

So this won't go away at all.

yes correct. if using 0.2.3 you need a code to enter and then need to activate the profile.

The situation is quite logical if you think about it. As Bazz said the isp providers were looking at high traffic to known servers and blocking them. IF you switch on a VPN you will get your channels. Basicly if your suppliers server is working normally and you switch on a VPN you will get streams because your ISP dose not know you are connecting to them.

A prime example is the team xecuter website is blocked however, if you switch on a VPN evreything is working normally the same principle applies to IPTV. There could be a number of reasons why your channels are not back at the moment. but i bet most are re-configureing there servers, and updating secutity.

How my system is set up is i am connected to a play list editor and i have changed the playlists url to a tiny url which runs through a VPN.
