Iptv block

Not sure what I'm doing incorrectly here. I'm a Digibit subscriber and have made sure the correct username and password are entered into both the Digitbit of EasyVPN adder for Wooshbuild. Whilst both plugins confirm they're connected to the server when I hit connect (icon in top right goes green too), the IP address stays the same. I know the password and username for my VPN are active and correct because I use it on my PC too. Really confiused.
I have the same issue, the IP Address does not change when connected. Also when I press RED on Remote to Exit, the top left Green connection icon changes back to Red, and the server details disappear. I am also confused!

Some isp are blocking some arnt I'm with sly no block my mate bt same provider blocked it is a strange one but its not only isp blocking personally think going after the s companies and the dc aswell cause the blocks have never been this intense since they first started blocking a couple of years ago but that's just my opinion on the matter

BT here along with two of my mates. All three of us blacked out last weekend. Were back again on Monday then blacked out again yesterday. I've now got a VPN so am back in action. I wonder if some threatening letters will be sent out by the ISPs to their customers now...

No as they are following the traffic plus legit businesses have been blocked aswell so can't see end users getting letters imo plus some groups I'm on has reported iplayer ect been blocked aswell

Wonder how long they can keep doing this damage to legit businesses and get away with it.

Sure such legit companies wont take too kindly to being blocked and being affected.

We may see changes in the blocks strategy maybe?

BT.

you cannot do it online but phone em up and ask them to turn off "net guard" on your account.

google "net guard" by all means, very few hits but its there and real and may also be active on your account ;-)

Alot of these ISPs have these types of features on by default.

Read for some had made a difference and others not turning it off.

Are their services up and running with or without vpn at the moment? Mine is down with both and also on 4g which hasn’t happened till now

Here was my weekend experiences

Saturday - VPN needed for both subs, worked fine

Sunday - Internet speed was cut in half at noon. No other devices connected to home broadband, box hardwired straight to the router. Connected to vpn servers but struggled to stream without buffering. Ran several speedtests without vpn on and speed fluctuated wildly between 2mbps and 18mbps. Connected phone to home broadband and had the same results. Struggled to find a vpn server (Digibit) that didn't lower speeds too much when normally I lose only a few mbps.

So my suspicion is

A) ISP blocks by Sky

B) Throttling of my speed by Sky

C) Digibit servers seeing an increase in traffic due to the widespread blocks

If so, have to take my hat off to the powers that be, it's a pretty effective joined up approach they've adopted there.

seems to be hitting almost everyone.

i know of only 1 server personally that has suffered no blocks at all, not to say there are not others.

and please don't pm me asking for the server 👍

I have my NORDVPN on permanently and use Ned as location. My service has been spot on. One of my boxes was using UK as vpn location and was glitching yesterday, changed to Ned and was fine

Ive been using VPN all weekend. I think there blocking VPN servers aswell. Cos I keep have to change server locations to get it to work.

Some other customers of the subs I have reported

A) Sub worked fine without vpn

B) Sub worked fine once connected to a vpn.

Obv the discrepancies in experience will be down to the variables - ISP, vpn, and which country/server connected to. Some reported a specific server eg France 4, Digibit gave them flawless viewing, whilst others tried that server and couldn't get a usable speed.

best just to speedtest on your device until you are happy you have a decent vpn connection.

then open up your iptv.
