Teething issues for sure, particularly with sound. They put out a tweet this morning saying they've made improvements. (Just as I've typed that Colin Brazier's lips are moving but there's no sound
)
I think it's got potential. Brazier and Muroki have had a brilliant show this morning with non other than the demi god Liz Truss on, followed by Sajid Javid. I think people want to see good guests and good interviews. Nailed it this morning.
It's extremely balanced from everything I've watched so far. The difference is they're willing to discuss the topics BBC/sky news don't want to and don't shut the discussion down as soon as the person on the left has finished speaking. They've made sure all voices are heard on both sides of whichever debate they're discussing, moreover the presenters are often the people playing devil's advocate and ensuring the view on the left is heard properly. Guests are definitely more centre right driven, granted.
These people wanting to cancel it before it's begun must be gutted it's not quite the vile, racist right wing fox news that they portrayed it to be. When you see people complaining it's too similar to sky and bbc, you know it must be relatively balanced!
Dan Wooton is probably the biggest outlier. He's like a walking edition of the Sun (for good reason obviously). His obsession with the royals does have a place for a lot of the viewership though.
The biggest difference in format is their clear interest in the whole country, particularly the North and don't see the UK as one homogenous London centric place. That in it's self will get viewership.
