Came home today to find all my favourites have gone on my GT Media V8 UHD. Anyone had this happen before ?

Did you do a list backup ? If so install it.

Working fine here check internet connection give router and box a full reboot.

Amended my post mate, channels clearing fine, just channels favs all gone.

Yes mate had a back up, just wondered what happened, IE like auto software update removing favourites ?

There is an auto update channel feature that possibly could be responsible, it needs turning off. You should be able to find it under setting somewhere, sorry can not be more specific i use Viarks not GTmedia

You need to purchase a yearly subscription urie

As stated, yearly sub for gt media, much more to viark receivers than sky uk though

Allows you to connect to the Ecam server.

Opens less than Mars, UK is SD only for example

As it seems to be a firmware you install to use ecam i dont think it will run Mars as well.

Ecam is a poor mans sub for those that are not intrested in the Stream Relay channels.

There will be nothing ecam opens your Mars sub does not open now .

So the mars sub could also open SD channels if they wanted it to open ?
