I've not been on that journey but have taken my dog on Brittany ferries to France many times.
There's restaurants, cafes and bars on board for meals or snacks, and machines for drinks and sweets/chocolate etc for when they're closed.
The power sockets on board are European so take a travel adapter if you need to charge phones/tablets etc.
I presume you've sorted the dog's passport and microchip etc?
Meals and drinks onboard aren't expensive, I usually go for the two courses for about €14
which is a starter and main or main and dessert

another one whos done the ferry but not that particular route.

as said above, food and drink on the ferry is very good value, only thing i can think is make sure you have a water bowl and food for the hound 👍
