Coinbase vs Paxful

Not sure what are keys in the crypto
A string of numbers and letters that creates a digital lock and keeps your Crypto safe if you store it offline on a hardware wallet or in a software wallet.
You need to keep it safe and secure.
When you store your Crypto on an exchange they have the keys to the Crypto.
If anything was to happen to that exchange you could lose access to your crypto because they store the keys.

Hello all just wondering what crypto wallet is better to use for first time?
Great question! It really depends on what you’re looking for, but here’s a quick breakdown:

💳 Hard Wallet (Hardware Wallet):
  • A physical device (like a USB stick) that stores your crypto offline.
  • Super secure since it's not connected to the internet (less risk of hacking).
  • Ideal for long-term storage or holding large amounts of crypto.
  • Examples: Ledger Nano, Trezor.
  • Downside: Costs money upfront and can be a bit clunky for frequent transactions.
🌐 Virtual Wallet (Software Wallet):
  • An app or program on your phone, computer, or browser extension.
  • Convenient for beginners and day-to-day transactions.
  • Examples: Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet.
  • Downside: Since it's connected to the internet, there's a higher risk of hacking or phishing attacks.
🚦 Recommendation for First-Timers:
Start with a reputable virtual wallet for ease of use. Once you're comfortable, or if you're holding a significant amount of crypto, consider investing in a hard wallet for added security.

AI as usual.

I recommended BlueWallet as a free alternative on android and ios. If you're a heavy user then Ledger or Trezor is worth the investment.
