Update Old Huawei Tablet?

Hi,

Looking for a bit of help if possible. Basically I have an old Huawei Media Pad T3 10 tablet. Some apps have stopped working lately and I think it's related to the old OS it's running. The tablet is running EMUI 5.1.3 (Android 7.0) and when I check for updates there are none available.

Is there a way to update this tablet or is it basically done now?

I think android 7 was the end. Most apps have stopped supporting that OS by now.

Ready for the bin mate time to get a newer device.
 
Same on a Huawei MediaPad M5 lite i had stuck on Android 8 i sold it on ages ago.
You could check XDA forums might be a custom rom with a later version of android but when i looked before i sold it couldn't find anything.
