No .. it's seems no matter what firmware I try the new client config is password blocked. Any ideas how I can get rid of this. Is there a restore to factory default or anything like that?

Daft question I know. But do I need a mains adapter for the ac power lead? I can't even get it to turn on. Thought it might have been powered through hdmi as nothing is said in the manual

Hi Guys

Bought a programming cable that doesn't seem to work, so have cut the rca cable that came with the box and looking to solder it on to the rs232 fitting.

The RCA cable has 6 wires in 3 insulated cables red/Black, yellow/Black and white/Black....can anyone tell me what wire goes to which pin?

Thanks in advance

Oh god help

downloaded the latest firmware no code on this 1 thankgod had to buy new box

AMIKO_MiniHD_Combo_1.4.87_conax thats the firmware scanned all channels got them fine where in the world is place to add line nothing in conditional access nowhere to add in internet is it hidden or have they removed it some help would be great guys thanks

Quick update

Decided to cut open the sealed jack end and see what wire was going where and solder as required...now got a box flashing as I write this.

Be careful of eBay programming cables as the 3.5mm jack plug isn't long enough to make the contacts in the box!!

For anyone wanting to use the rca cable in the box and an rs232 fitting the procedure that worked for me was as follows:

1. Cut off the 3 phono plugs and bare the wires(Should now have Red/Black,Yellow/Black and White/Black)
2. Cut off the black wires next to the red and yellow wires(Not needed they all go into 1)
3.Solder the Yellow wire to pin 2
4.Solder the White wire to pin 3
5. Solder the Red and Black wires to pin 5
6.Follow the steps outlined on page 7 of this post.

Hopefully this helps some of you out!
