Ive done the reboot when it starts back up its on bbc 1 hd so try to change to channel eg 401 and the picture fron bbc1 just freezes but the epg tells me im on channel 401.
 
When your box freezes like this is a way of telling your line has not kicked in try starting your cams see if that does it

The picture freezes because of the zap menu setting. Choices are black screen or freeze. Its set to freeze.

Basically ur lines not added correctly or
Ur using cccam and its not activated or
Its not connected to internet or
its a bad line.

Anything i missed? lol
 
I'm having issues with my zGemma 2s. Just recently Upgraded from a Skybox f5s. I have flashed the box with sucmnsee latest vix image.
Added my line to the newcam.list as advised from the tutorial. Sly channels are working but they are freezing quite frequently in comparison to when I had the line on the skybox fs5. When I had my line on the skybox it was on mgmcmd and my server guy said don't use Cccmd. don't really know the difference between the two. has anyone got any advice on why my sly channels are freezing more than when I had it in the f5s. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
 
On the f5s its only running a single tuner.
Ur box is now twin tuner.
Speak to ur supplier telling him that and see what he says.
He might say u need line upgraded
 
I have just emailed my server person. I will see what he comes back with. he does say his servers only support Oscam and mgcamd. Not sure if that makes a difference to my freezing problem?

I'm getting this freeze can't figure out what I'm doing wrong?

My network test comes back as all connected and when I go into ccam info my server has a green dot next to it but my sly channels won't work.

I have entered my cline in etc/cccam.cmg and started ccam2.30 in softcam manager.

Can you point me in the right direction please?

Hi mate great guide. Just wondering, not a technical issue more a query I have, when putting the newcamd lines on which I put 2 on for back up. what is the reason for putting CWS_KEEPALIVE = 60 on the first line as I have never before and not had an issue really that I'm aware of? Cheers
 
Hi Sucmnsee, does it matter that I'm using mgcamd 1.38 which came with your image? Or should I use mgcamd 1.35, I've seen on the forum that 1.35 works a bit better than 1.38- for what reason I'm not sure. Could this be a reason why my sly channels are freezing more than normal? Many thanks.
 
Hi guys just a quick question, I've had a zgemma star s2 and loaded it up with no issues, used it and recorded with it no problem then one day it wouldn't load up and just said boot on the display, I ref lashed it with sucmnsee download and reentered everything and it worked great, for afew days and now it's doing the same! Any of you guys shed any light on this?
 
Also do I have to use a usb/hard drive to make it work? Or if I'm not using it for recording should I still get the channels without one??
 
Thanks for the guide its just what you need when you first start out with these boxes...i was given one that was a brick(knackered) and after all the info on here its back up and running ......Cheers
