N Line not working in mgcamd but works in CCcam

Hi guys, total n00b here but have managed to use mgcamd with an N-Line before for months, now it suddenly stopped but I can't get it working for the life of me.

I have recently flashed Wooshbuild V5 on a Star H.2S, put my 'newcamd.list' file in and it did the rest. But the channels are not working. I have 2 x lines now just to make sure the line was not the problem but still no joy.

The funny thing is, if I put the line as 'N: ****** ****** *****...' in CCcam.cfg' it works fine! However if I put the same line in Newcamd.list with 'CWS = **** ****....' and use mgcamd the channels wont work.

For the record I have:
- Re-Flashed the box twice
- Tried ftp to transfer the files over
- Tried USB Cam importer
- Tried an alternative line
- Tried using mgcamd 1.35a
- Tried Ccamd
- Re-downloaded newcamd.list from the forum with mg_cfg
- Uninstall all plugins and re-download

The one thing I noticed is that using the N-Line in (CCcam.cfg) shows 'using: camd' under 'Softcam Panel', whereas a C-Line shows 'using: CCcam'.

Shall I just give up and leave things as they are?
When I did have mgcamd it barely glitched and worked great for months. Just don't know why it stopped suddenly and I can't get it back.

Speak to your provider.
I know of one that recently changed some server settings and now the N lines only work in the CCcam.cfg file instaed of mgcamd !
It also depends on the server emulator settings being set the same as the line/cam you're trying to use.
Could be just a case of a settings change and back to normal.

Thanks for your reply, will speak to both providers as I have tried 2 x lines.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to ask here but any chance of recommending where I could find a good or reputable provider for future?

Read the suggestions in the request a server thread in general satellite section.
Not a good idea to take advice/buy from new members with no history.
Listen to VIPS then Vets first s they have been here a while and contributed to the forum.

Thanks for your help guys, managed to get it up and running now. Looks like it was a setting with both line providers.
