My understanding
That's all fine and dandy-o.
What happens when the chinese task masters get 50 million requests for new subs?
turn all that money away maybe?
I was in contact with a few American servers that didn't use XC neither, none of them are available now.
The streams have to come from somewhere, those supplying them are picking and choosing who to rip off week by week
I dont know if they are ripping them off otherwise we would of seen a hike in prices on the suppliers who are working.

The servers who are working are cobbled together with bits and pieces from here and there...hence my earlier post about these same people will be moaning next week when everything gone again.
Where there's desperate people there's hundreds of unscrupulous people queuing up to take their cash

Personally I think the software is not the problem it is more about the infrastructure to deal with demand

I forget how many servers were seized but I think it was close to 200. That is a hell of a investment

Still can't get Z7+or Z8 boxes running and the guy just flat out refuses to give the username and password which I know it associated with a MAG line.
Username and password not associated with mag lines mate it's just mac address and portal

its odd as i can run stbemu on the z8 fine with the same mac and portal add but will not work on mytvonline 2
Depends what platform your provider is using as some panel providers only support certain devices

I'm back up and running now on my Zgemma with my supplier, all channels are back on. He's still working away on the back end and it's taking a while for channels to actually show - there's a black screen and 4 or 5 second delay when changing channel but I can live with this. No EPG but I can look online to find out whats on. Just had to refresh bouquets and that was it sorted. Hopefully everyone else's will be back up soon

Just got this from my supplier..................ffs!

"As many of you already know we are operating without Xtream Codes to manage our systems. Operating in this mode gives us very limited ability to deal with EPL block and the challenges associated with it. For the short term we have to remove any channels that carry EPL matches (Sky Sports, BeIN, NBCSN and other) this include the live football section. Full list here https://www.premierleague.com/news/970151
Rest assured we not arrive at this decision easily and thank you for your understanding.

In the long term with proper management tools, we will work on a way to add these channels back. The current state of limited toolset to deal with EPL blocks and assoicated challenges is the primary reason for this direction we are taking.

These will be removed throughout the course of today. Please do not message asking why etc as we will be busy trying to sort this"

They only need to advise the end user to use vpn

There are other operating systems suppliers can revert to but cost is an issue which is why they go for the quick fix,The big big providers have all this in place so no or very little down time.
I agree with you. like i said in my earlier posts i think they are only interested in the big suppliers. As it seems quite a few are having problems

I'd say 80% purchase IPTV service solely for EPL so this ain't the answer

Here's whats happened with one of my suppliers this was left on there advice site yesterday
If this is true there are some grassing twats about

Yesterday evening, our data hosting centre was served with a number of abuse notices from the SKY legal team.
They had obtained details of one of our services and accused us of illegally streaming their content.
Under normal circumstances we would move everything and restart but as we have no proper working control panel, we cannot do this.
All of our servers have been shut down and we cannot argue the notices for obvious reasons.
We are looking at moving our new hosting away from Europe so that this should not happen again.
As soon as we can obtain a working control panel, we will find a new data hosting centre to be back up and running.
Realistically this may not be till the weekend.
We apologize for this but we believe someone may have done this deliberately as SKY could never find us without individual information

I suspect the real reason is to be found within the phrase "The current state of limited toolset to deal with EPL blocks and associated challenges is the primary reason for this direction we are taking."

Those 'associated challenges' are further explained in the above post by @SkipDonoghue which refers to "abuse notices from the SKY legal team".

It's getting hot out there folks! :openmouth::confounded:

From the rumour mills but would seem to be true as a number of service providers taken down again in the past couple of days.
One of the largest source providers of streams was taken down by the authorities a couple of days ago.
They were traced back from info obtained in the original big crackdown against xtream codes.
They relocated everything to backups in different locations but never told any customers so ignorance was bliss !
Out of the blue at least 3 of their customers were hit with DESIST notices and their servers banned with no warning.
All 3 were still streaming their service from original servers.
If this sequence of events is correct then we can expect a lot more disruption if the authorities have a list of server ip's to go after.
They will only do this when the servers are streaming so may be progressive pain !

This should of been obvious once the raid on XC occurred . you would of thought the original source providers would of put security measures in place.

My provider is glitching like mad here now. On e2 and starters. He hasnt been online here since friday 20th. Wondrring if anuone else has same provider. It was grand earlier on today
Had glitching on the main sports channels tonight, i guess the new system couldn't cope with the footy demand as all the other channels were fine and sports ones are all glitch free again now its finished.

My service is a bit glitchy, slow to connect to streams etc but at least its up for now. I spoke to my provider earlier and he says there's been a lot of work done and more still to be done but he's hopeful that things will improve.
