123 proxy help

Could anybody help me set up a proxy for 123movies. I've noticed it can be set up through the settings, just need a bit of direction. I'm on virmin Internet and the 123 url has been blocked. I'm aware of working sites.

I will assist you once I get home after work. I'm on BT and only way to get it to work is to use the proxy.

Sorry mate for late reply. Go to iptv player, then "configuration". Change alternate proxy server 1 to your desired proxy. Click save.
With configuration, click on "services configuration". Click on 123movies and change it from none to alternate proxy server one. Go back and save.
You should be good after that.

this didn't work for me.
using a current working UK proxy on laptop, site loads ok and movies play.
enter the proxy using your instructions on the zgemma and still comes back with no results when searching via iptvplayer

Why you want to do this. Just open the Iptv setting on Box and then select 123 movies it's there in the menus.

UK ISP's are blocking access which is the reason for needing a VPN

A I see there's another way rename your box to say something like Samsung Smart tv this way they will see it on there end as a smart tv or a ps4 or whatever.

I'm no expert but I'm 99% sure it doesn't work like that.

Menus<System<Setup<Network<Mount Manager then change the host name to what ever you like as long as it's not zgemma

Your isp sees the name of the box. There's another thread about it on here. I did it and bingo no more problems from isp.

O I forgot to tell you after you change name you must reboot. Jobs oxo good as gold.

That's not the issue. ISPs are blocking access to the site. Not access from the box. 123 movies now only works through a proxy site or VPN. It's blocked on laptops, phones boxes.

It's working for me straight from the box. I am on virgin media broadband.
