Australia IP and IPTV

Hi , guys

Any Aussie members on here, Daughter going to Sydney for a yr and if she gets a job probably permanently. I assume IPTV is the same etc , just wondering what's the broadband service like, blocks etc , obviously can get around it with VPN .

Broadband is relatively good depending where you are living. It is all via NBN and then isps on sell

The speeds are probably slower than you get over there the max here is 1000 / 50 with the exception of some plans. The cost is probably more too around AUD $80-$130 per month.

We don’t really get blocks here some, websites are blocked by court order. ISP's block vis their dns but if you use google or other dns this gets around it .

No issues with IPTV that I have found

I have never needed to. Maybe they need to change dns away from isp
