Can't Flash back to Open ATV

Hi,
I flashed my Zgemma h2s box to Openvix, this has caused me some problems with EPG download etc. I now want to re-flash to Open ATV and it wont allow this. It will allow flash to Openvix again but not Open ATV. I have tried many USB sicks(FAT 32 and under 8GB). I also have another Zgemma
h2s running Open ATV, would it be safe to backup this box and restore this backup(on usb)to the box stuck in Openvix ? Thanks
 
When you insert the USB stick with OpenATV and it the display should say USB, are you pressing the power button on the box when USB displayed?
 
To be honest NO. I will try that tonight and report back. I did not do this for openvix and it flashed, is it different for Open ATV ?
 
Yes, you have to press the box power button when USB is displayed when flashing ATV on the zgemma but not VIX, on the officially VIX supported boxes you normally have to press the power button to flash vix when prompted.
 
It depends if the zgemma folder has force or no force if it's no force then you need to press the front power button as soon as you see usb.
If it's force then you don't.

If it's an image from scratch and have the openatv zipfile ftp it to media/hdd create a folder called imagebackups and place the zipfile in there then Menu, setup, vix, image manger and highlight the zipfile and press blue button to restore.

You can do the same for the image on the other zgemma create a full backup then transfer it to your second box
