Aside from the media and the happy clapping, clad the house in flags and pretend to be football fans for a month brigade, I don't think anyone expects England to do well. We play every two years for a trophy and have only won one, in the entire history of the tournaments. We're crap and we know it.

Wouldnt right off teams like Switzerland, Denmark or Czech Republic going all the way over the big nations now. You just never know in this beautiful game.

England @ 9/2 is a joke, they only give odds like this to rob people blind. If they offered the real odds of 33/1 no one would put a penny on them

Spain/Croatia was brilliant also but do agree will slightly edge it to France/Switzerland especially when it got to penalties.

Those injuries to De Bryune and Hazard have hit Belgium hard. They were shorter odds before the tournament began! I said Italy before the tournament and I'm sticking with them.

That's a big call. Southgate is really putting his head on the block there. I understand the need to counter Germany's wing backs but I've never been a fan out worrying more about the opposition than your own game. In fairness to Southgate, by and large he's got the big calls right so far. If we won't win with a change of formation like this there will be A LOT of criticism (more than usual).
