Because Firesticks are now on the Black Friday offers is there any advantage to go for the 4K Max stick, for iptv use?

Yeah totally agree with @Ferret. Its roughly 20% more snappier at navigating around the apps and menu's and is worth the extra cost whilst on sale etc ive never paid full price and always purchased on prime days and black fridays and all the discounts inbetween. As tesco keep reminding us Every little help's lol or i'm just a savvy buyer 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I've got both and haven't noticed any real world difference, but then again i didn't notice any real world difference between a shield and a 4k

You don’t really notice a difference as they both do the same thing but the 20% snappier some may notice as others won’t

If it’s just for IPTV get the 4K and save a little money you won’t know the difference. I have both and I struggle to see anything.

I don't notice much difference between my firestick and FireTV cube, speed wise, just more memory and it speaks to you.:laughing:

Agree, operation wise not enough to notice, the real difference is how often you need to run cache cleaner etc to keep the device running at its best

The only real difference you’ll probably notice between the normal 4k & max is faster bootup time app starts navigation etc oh and the max also supports otg storage within the settings menu’ the normal 4k does not unless you send over adb commands to format even if that is still possible as jeff bezos keeps pushing constant updates out filling our sticks full of bloatware we don’t need.

Re-upping this, as Prime sale for next 2 days on Tues and Wed 11th, 12th July.

I have the 2nd gen Firestick.

Anyone with more experience and lived in thoughts?

4k = £35
4k Max = £38
