This is a misleading post, all you have done is posted the message "This post requires you to click the Thanks button to read this content".

If you want access to the server details then make a post in the introduction section to introduce yourself and please dont spam!

[hide]While searching on the net for free news servers, i came across this www . snelnl . com It gives you 1 month unlimited downloads with 1000 days retention.Once you've registered, It asks you to download there software but this isnt necessary,
Server adres (EU): news.snelnl.com (port 119) + ssl-news.snelnl.com (port 563)
server adres (US): news2.snelnl.com (port 119) + ssl-news2.snelnl.com (port 563)

Username: is the email u registered with but instead of "@" put a "_" .
Password: The password you received from them in your email inbox.
Connection per server is 530 kbps with a maximum of 9 servers.[/hide]

For anybody wishing to put up servers we have one request that you hide the content and select one option request Thanks or Like to see content.

im glad its saving everyone the hassle, its easy enough to work out sorry its in german, if anyone can translate it would be great. enjoy ppl
 
Here's a quick guide I wrote to help everyone:

1) Click on "Email erstellen" - this will load up the website in new page containing your 'temporary' email.
2) Copy/paste the email address into "Email hier eintragen".
3) Type in a username/password in the relevant area ("Login Name" & "Passwort") - NOTE: If you click on the dice it will generate a random password for you.
4) Click on "Account Generieren" - wait for it to complete.
5) Now refresh the website that was loaded previously (your temporary email account) - you should see an email from free.xennews - click on the link inside to 'activate' the account.
6) Now type in the details into your news server client and away you go! :)

Thanks again to boltonguy2k for sharing the software - and to the author(s) of the software for making it so easy! :)
 
il keep my eyes peeled i got a zip file of a few others but not sure if they work or not lol

Remember it creates a random unused user id for u keep app open till u enter details into usenet client.

Remember to wait upto 10mins for account to become active (access denied to node error)

keep password as 00000 its easier and faster to update client

Trying to work out how to do this

I have watched Ferg's video Here, Wrapped "Hide " tags around the details, then ticked the "require Thanks " tick box, but it doesn't seem to work, am I missing something??
