Just finished testing the most ridiculous box I have ever played with.lol
The Freesat V7 HD is so small that I thought someone was having a joke when it arrived here.
Firstly this box is wifi only---no ethernet port and virtually nothing else either----upgrades/lines etc are all via usb but the ease of set up is a straight 10/10.
I have installed a set of 4 sats --13e---19.2e--23.5e--28.2e plus a multi-sat Cline and full scan on all sats.
The mini-box is driving a 90cm dish with an Alsat H-H motor using USALS and absolutely perfect---all channels coming in fast, I have changed audio to english wherever possible---very basic now and next epg.
This gadget is so easy to play with, so have installed on bedside table and removed the V8s [stuck it on gumtree]
At 30quid for a simple no frills box for use as spare or in another room----it's a winner, anyone interested pm me as usual.

got to say mines arrived this morn cracking wee box :D playing a round with set up as we speak

1 question is there an easy way to organise channels or am just as well editing database
 
Thanks for the info on this. Was thinking about getting this box for the bedroom.

Is anybody able to confirm if you can use mgcamd with this box or is it just ccam?

Got a few they are small but for the price there OK.did not think they would work as well with just WiFi stick but have it on 4 months now and no probs at all.it would be OK for bedroom box but for main box I'd spend a bit more.I got them on Ali for 25 euro

Ive just received one to set up. Spent all night trying to figure out how to install a gift.any ideas would ge very gratefull
 
Is there any way of sorting the epg out instead of doing it manually.downloaded a channel list for it but cant get channels to work.

Don't expect too much from this little box--originally designed for use where you just want basic tv programs.
Don't use the channel list from support forum as a few bugs exist.
Epg is now and next or hit and miss but if you want all the tassels and bells then splash out on something else.
These little boxes are cheap but do exactly as they are designed to do---give you satellite at a cheap price.
