I watch a lot of YouTube. When I use my laptop I can block adverts using uBlock origin browser plugin - highly recommend.
However, if I watch YouTube on my phone or on my TV the adverts are there and are pretty annoying. The YouTube Premium cost in the UK is something like £12 a month, which is totally absurd if you ask me.

Just a reminder, if you have a VPN, you can go Ad Free by connecting via any of these countries:
Country - Reason
🇦🇱 Albania - Europe Less developed country.
🇰🇭 Cambodia - Asia Less developed country.
🇨🇮 Ivory Coast - Africa Less developed country.
🇱🇦 Laos - Asia Less developed country.
🇲🇲 Myanmar - Asia Currently have a conflict.
🇲🇴 Macau - Asia Unknown.
🇲🇬 Madagascar - Africa Less developed country.
🇲🇻 Maldives - Asia In developing state.
🇷🇺 Russia - Currently involved in a conflict.
Also.....................
YouTube Premium - Gamsgo
YouTube have cracked down on this and it's almost impossible to get new YouTube Premium sign ups using VPN. They are using address verification as well as other methods to detect if you are in the same country as you have signed up through. Below is a working solution where you get added to a YouTube Premium Family Plan. I just signed up for 6 months for £20
Sign up to - Shared premium subscriptions with lower price on GamsGo! | Netflix | YouTube Premium - GamsGo
Add Discount Code = GIVEME5
Once purchased, then will send you confirmation email and link to join the YouTube Premium Family Group.
Troubleshooting:
If you don't get the link, check you have your google play store set to the correct region. It MUST be the same country - scroll to bottom of this page to check your registered Google Play region - https://play.google.com/store/games
I realised I had changed my google play store account to India while trying to get YouTube Premium that way. It was a bit of a faff to change it back to UK since I don't have an Android phone. I followed the "Desktop" guide in link below to do this - How to Change Your Google Play Country (Desktop & Mobile)
