Global IPTV gang shut down

Yet no influx in requests here or elsewhere and no major moaning of sorts on the old interwebs. I'm starting to suspect that some of these reports are inflated for the following reasons:
1) To put fear in people
2) Inflate the success of their work
Strangely though reddit has started removing all IPTV posts.

You are 100% correct - in another life I was involved in a similar type of scenario (nothing to do with iptv / media / counterfeit) and fear is the greatest weapon in the armoury of these people and this is achieved by inflating their success. The average 'Joe' doesnt want to be involved in anything that may come back and bite them. Its just plain and simple propaganda. Two of the best examples I can think of are the RSPCA which does great work, yes but in reality they are very, very thin on the ground so inflate their importance to encourage donations, second Trading Standards who are a non entity but read their press, they are super investigators but in reality almost totally reliant on the police who due to underfunding dont want to know nowadays.

Some are pure greedy tbh so they will advertise all over the place to get as much customers as they can.
Those providers never seem to be in it for long haul either just for a quick buck.

IPTV being completely shut down cant see happening. I dont know ins and outs of it but seems even more complicated to shut it down compared to c/s

I was referring to reports in media but only the true owners will know and f.a.c.t would know
Think the 2 million reference was about the one that got shut down in Spain last year
Don't think the Spanish one was called global but the reports kept saying they were a global supplier of IPTV with over 2 million aubs. Find the Norfolk and Suffolk screen people got as global in the UK streamed from a Birmingham address as it went down for 2 days a while back and they said it was due to a virgin issue in Birmingham.
By its very nature, I'd assume all IPTV is global in that anyone in the world with an Internet connection can access it
Its just part of all the crap the media publish to make it all seem bigger and more worthy of a headline just the same as they fill full of lies, guesses and false information. I see that north west IPTV did actually get closed down but no police stream was put up and very little news about it anywhere but maybe because the owner was up to other things aswell

Have you proof as I know a few people who had that imagine on there screens and 1 member off here had it on their screen aswell!!!
