Guide How to set up an E2 combo box with vix image

Hi, I'm trying to use a Newcamd line on a Vu+ solo 4k but to be honest I have no idea how to set it up. Can someone please help me set up a Newcamd.list and a mg_cfg file or give me some advice on what I'm to do next. At the moment I only have the box flashed with OpenVix and Mgcamd plugin installed. Thanks in advance
 
Hi Guys,

I followed the whole setup and it has all helped great, I am falling down when I am entering my cline details, I have been having these problems the last week and it doesnt see to be getting any better.

I have entered the line details in my old Skybox f5s and the line is perfect. But when entering it in the oscam details after setting up my Amiko it is playing for 10 seconds then sticking for 2 minutes then playing for another 10 seconds and sticking and so on... can anyone help I am pulling my hair out, I am totally losing faith in the alien 2+, enigma and regretting deciding to "upgrade"
 
dont think the amiko is classed as e2 box.

better off starting new thread in gen.sat " amiko and oscam setup needed "
 
Its a nice tut bees, why do we need to download the CCcam 2.3.0 m8, when the MG Cam 1.38 is doing the work m8
 
If my VM tv package is still currently active till the end of this month can I still connect my VM cable into my new cable box and set it up with a N-line subscription or does my VM subscription need to be finished first?

Theres no way that VM can know that I am using an N-line subscription through their cable line is there?
 
Hi Bees.Thanks for the guide, I've found it really helpful so far. This is my first attempt at setting up a Miracle box and it's going ok but I can't download the attachments. I think this is because I am a new member. Any idea on how to request permission to download the files? Thanks

The guide is for the firmware not the box. All Zgemma's can run OpenVix firmware.

Hi, I have just taken the plunge and bought an Edison OS mini cable receiver.

Could anyone tell me if I can skip the 'connect to internet' step in the set up tutorial on page one ? I want to connect via WI-FI which is not permitted until I bypass this step.

I have followed the steps up to scanning for channels , when I scan the display states I have 405 video and 37 radio channels

But I can't find any of these channels! HELP!!!
 
Hi, I have setup my box, scanned the channels and put my Cline into CCcam.cfg and uploaded it into the etc folder. But when I go into Softcam manager there is no options, it just has "Active:" and "Select:" but there is nothing to select. Any help? Are there more files that need to be loaded through filezilla?
 
Haven't got a fav button , I've sorted it now thanks the box was scanning the incorrect Frequency.

Next problem - Where do I find my n / c line! I've got the example one downloaded from the guide on page one. It already contains CWS =

What goes next?

So the 'gift' is the c/n line? Once I get a free weekend test they will send me this code?

If say my net ID is 42753 363.000 6.887 then that means the frequency is 363? Do I need to put this value in anywhere on my box for the scan to work?
