How to update your channel list for Skyboxes

you will find what you need on aj's site http://www.*************/ it wont let me post the site go to google and type aj's channel list you will get the 27 the new one you are after

hi ive just downloaded ajs new list, unzipped it onto my usb put it on skybox f5 it loads in about 5 seconds then it reboots and now im getting no signal. all the channels appear to be there but nothing on them. I could get signal before I did update

Reformat your USB and reload if you press info on remote when done it will tell you if it loaded ok

tried that no different looked on info says channels loaded ok but other things on list arnt loaded. when I looked on satellite signal its 33% strength and 10% quality it was 78% before

Try reformatting usb and download an older channel list, i've had to do this a couple of times in the last 12 months, don't know why but if a channel list is only a day or two old it doesn't seem to work on my box until it's about a week old.

no as I said channel list comes up fine but theres no signal now can I reformat it or something to try to find a signal

Check your sat cable try a single sat scan

Cables plugged in i was getting channels before i did a channel update. Done a single sat scan got no channels in the search its like im looking at wrong satellite now

Do a complete factory reset make sure you have a back up of your line first then reload channel list and line

Can you try the box at a friends house that way you will know if it's the installation in your house

Ive just tried an old sky+ box and that comes up with no signal too. Ffs

If you have a iPhone and can reach your dish there is a free app Dish align which is good

If you move your dish just a little bit it could be left or right if you move it just a bit wait a few secs for your receiver to register the move of the signal

Hi all, downloaded ajs list for jan 2015 and when I try to open it on laptop, I get a message saying "application not found".

Any ideas would be great thanks
