Iptv block

Ones hard wired other is wifi.

From what I remember on PC was getting 80-90mb speeds from 100mb connection.

Whereas on fire stick was getting 30-50mb speeds.

It all depends on server you select as well as some you lose huge amount of speeds others not as much.

For IPTV blocks, geo blocks VPNs are fine.

Some will go down VPN router others like myself will just use VPN on certain devices as it does the job.

I agree with @ilsonbob if you have a low end device it could be better to run a VPN through a router. However, people should beaware that it could reduce your speeds by upto 50% so that is also another consideration. VPNs are heavy on the processor so it may be best to to test both methods if you have a cheaper box

With everyone jumping to a vpn option surely this leaves suppliers open for less traffic output, leaving it less prone to isp blocks?

Well as I said IMO, People are trying to use Zgemma boxes and Firesticks, cheap Android boxes to run the iptv and now the VPN. Then they comment (moan) about the slow speeds of their particular VPN. They might run it but not aswell as a R7000 etc etc.

In my experience firesticks and cheap android boxes will run a vpn just fine, as long as you take the time to find a fast enough server.

I use firesticks for 2 subs both were affected yesterday. The first sub you are not allowed to use a vpn so it was out of the game for sometime. The 2nd I used vpnsecure which I bought a lifetime subscription for a couple of years ago for like £10 via this forum. Used a UK server on the vpn and it worked perfectly . I usually use a Netherlands server but yesterday it was too slow and stuttered but uk was 100% great.
The only point I would make in relation to using a vpn on a firestick or any android device is that you go to settings and force stop your iptv app, then launch vpn and connect to server before relaunching iptv app. May be obvious but not everyone does this.

if you are currently being blocked you will need to use a vpn for now. exit your iptv app or make sure you are not connected to the server watching a channel. if in doubt reboot your device and do not try to use any channel. start your vpn. make sure you are connected and getting reasonable speed on your device, preferably using a speedtest app or plugin on your device. once you are confident you are connected to a decent vpn with good speeds then and only then stat up your iptv. same goes for if you are disabling vpn or changing vpn location. make sure you are not connected to the server whilst you mess about with your vpn location.

Is there any specific recomendation of a speedtest app to try for firestick users and enigma 2 users 🤔👍
