It's good that providers have found workarounds for the super blocks so quickly then. I watched most matches on Peacock with a vpn this weekend, seems safer in the current climate.

There are no super blocks. last few years they were called blocks, this year is the same, nothing super about them. The term is used to scare the gullable so they then use the term every time they discuss blocks, further spreading the scare mongering

None of the providers that my friends use which is about 5 different providers in total had any issues with blocks over the weekend, Maybe it's just the crap cheapo ones having issues ?

No bud any provider can have blocks it’s how you invest in the service to protect it that counts.
Some providers are quick to take your money then no soon as a block happens they tell you to use a vpn to make there life easy imo

If you personally source and then sell you are in control, yes anyone can get hit but a quality provider has a back up in place and issue solved as fast as it started.

Resellers have nothing to do with blocks. I belive some people had problems with boxing over the weekend aswell.

No matter what always have a VPN handy not saying you will need to use it all the time.

But certinaly a good idea if you are not on full fibre because you speeds are constantly moving up and down. Where as full fibre they will hardly change

The thing that unnerves me about the new super blocks is all the other subtle changes in the Premier League coverage on Sky, like the extra injury time, the big delay to the Arsenal match, the "sanitation" delay in the Brentford match etc - all new things this season. Even looking deeper, Mo Salah scored in the opening game of every Premier season for Liverpool before the super blocks. Since the super blocks, he's firing blanks.

I must admit I do miss the satellite days...but IPTV is so much more convenient!

The main thing for me is Mrs not kicking off as the dish (which at the time was on the wall just outside master bedroom!) started moving as I was bored and sat hopping 🤣

Easiest way if you want sat buy a viark and app for 3pm games. But the problem is the ppv don't think these boxes show that

Tbh mate it’s more a nostalgic thing for me now! The motorised setup is long gone and no way the wife would want another dish on the house now! IPTV plugs the gap well enough these days.

When the first court order was implemented way back there were no blocks for a few weeks. They won't sit back using the same old technology to block that has been used in the past. If they didn't have the technology or at least a working theory on how to move forward them I sincerely doubt they would have gone to the expense of going to court for no reason.

We will see what happens but don't for a minute think that nothing will happen.

To what my provider has mentioned The court order is for epl put forward through sky nothing to do with the super cup or champions league as bt (tnt) would have to apply for the court order to block it

Yeah blocks will be for EPL if it's from Sky. EPL is watched across the world so is far bigger than the Super Cup.
