MSI GeForce GTX 275 Lightning: Hands-on Review
When it comes to learning all about how well a video card performs, then the best people to ask has to be TweakTown. They offer extensive reviews of most graphic cards as they put them under extreme pressure to see how well they perform. Their latest hands-on review is with the MSI GeForce N275GTX Lightning Video Card.
The GTX 275 Lightning is from the 275 family but has a number of improvements to help increase its performance. TweakTown wishes for the GTX 275 to offer the same high performance as the 260, as well as better cooling while not having to load any software to make all this happen.
So TweakTown have a tall order, so will the MSI GeForce GTX 275 Lightning be able to pass the test. The GTX 275 offers the same aftermarket cooling as the GTX 260 Lightning card, much different from the poor performing stock design. You will notice that there are two fans on the video card, more than enough to keep things running cool.
TweakTown’s final thoughts on the card suggest that the GTX 275 card has good performance overall, and had a huge performance boost over the standard GTX 275. They conclude that the MSI GeForce GTX 275 Lightning is the ideal card if looking for more power with better cooling.
