I got an 80cm Technomate mesh dish in the end. Not as heavy as a normal steel dish for obvious reasons.

More susceptible to wind damage the higher you are, as I was told previously but that shouldn't be a problem for me

Struggling myself to find any bargain. 85cm dish , may have to start looking for a cheap new one.

Odd size is a 85cm i think most have be measured the wrong way.

80cm or 90cm standard sizing.

I know I need bigger than 65cm based on when the bad hits. Won't get away with another large dish so 80cm will have to do

Yeah its a guide and the info it gives is in ideal conditions.

Cloud cover or rain and youll struggle.

I see WoS does a 80cm mesh technomate Dish Kit that Inc L bracket , Lnb ,
Only need the dsh so I'll keep looking

I recommend the Gibertini SE Series.

Easy to install and align, and flawless reception, even in bad weather.

I had never installed a dish before, and I installed/aligned this dish using only my phone in about 30 minutes.

I would recommend zone 2 satellite dish I've had mine for 16 years now it's gone rusty still does the job I can get signal off Hotbird or Astra 19

Yeah can get a zone 2 plenty about , but looking for bigger 80-90. If I could find a decent 1.1 I'd the swap the current 1m .
