I'm looking to have a multi room system to two other TVs in separate rooms.

I've tried Kodi in other rooms with some success

I want to use the existing coax cable as the distance is too far for HDMI.

I've read other threads on this subject. Just wanted to know if anyone has had success with a modulator, did the magic eye work, how good is the picture quality. Can I spilt the signal to two other TVs.

It's there a make of modulator better than others.
 
You can split with asplitter no problems. Have it going to 4 with no problem.
You guy buy a digital one which will give you better quality and 1080p. But it depends on your budget. They will be a good bit over 100
The stand ones the quality isn't the same as the original picture. I find the menus are the problem. But for 10-20 it does the job

Thanks, not sure I want to spend that much, if the picture quality isn't as good. I'm looking for the best solution for multi-room.

Have a read up on it and I'm sure there's a video on you tube about it as well.
 
yea i think that is the main one and have seen it before when i was researching it

almost cheaper to buy a second box
 
no you need to buy another box to make it work i cant remember the name but im sure some one will addd it in
