RF Modulator

I know I would need to add an RF modulator to get the signal to the 2nd tv but would I also need another box too to allow the magic eye to work or is the modulator the other box you refer to?

just looking for a cheaper option to send HD signals to another TV - concerned about the picture quality of an ordinary RF modulator.

To send HD to another TV it's going to cost you. Unless someone knows another way?

Might be easier just buying another receiver

I can vouch for 1080 over single lan cable. About £30-£35 from ebay.

Excellent quality over over a long cable run and sends remote signal

I don't see the one I bought to post the link but it was from uk seller neoestore. It was a splitter on one so the feed from Zgemma goes in, another HDMI goes to to 1 and then via the network/lan cable through to 2nd tv

Hi couldn't help but notice you we're talking hd over cat5e or 6 , I have installed a few and would recommend lab gear yes lab gear hd extender comes with a local port for downstairs tv sends great a great hd picture and comes with ir and the ir Evan works try it with joins and rg45 plates over 70 metres and it still worked? Rf is old hat now hd extenders all the way. Antiference do a similar product but will require an hdmi splitter but also works great

Hi,

If you were definitely going the coaxial cable route, then I can thoroughly recommend this RF Modulator - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002R634DU
Yes, it may be a bit more expensive than the earlier posted one (which works fine too) which is about £17 - however, after using both I find that this one provides better quality AND also provides a 'magic eye' for extending your IR signal! You will also need to purchase this (or similar) - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008QBWAYO - to connect your H.2S to the RF Modulator.

I can definitely recommend this setup, and I hope this helps.

Cheers,

Stevie.
