Server online but scrambled channels on both boxes

Long time lurker.
U have two skybox f5s's. In the last month or two they have been giving me bother so I went and bought a new server and I have entered the details and they are both online.

Problem is that I still have scrambled channels. I have the homeplugs. I have restarted router and box's serveral times. The internet works on everything else in the house.

Now, when i go into the youtube app and weather app I get absolutely nothing. Is this a case of the internet not getting to the box properly? If this was the case surely it wouldnt be able to pick up that server is online? Is there another setting on the box that I should be tweeking? The green light is flashing on the back of both boxes

Try your boxes with a direct Ethernet cable, just get a long one off amazon as a test , i have had odd issues with homeplugs and ended up running a long cable, i know its a pain but at least its 100% reliable

when running 2 boxes is your connection multiroom enabled?

What does this mean exactly. I have had both running and working at one stage but one is completely gone now and the other is going daily so I would presume they were 'multilroomm enabled' at some stage. Could explain to me please?

I have one. I will dig it out and try it again . The thing I am really confused about it that the homeplugs work if I plug the laptop into them and the green light flashes at the back of the skybox. The server is online( so I would presume internet is being used to find this out?) but none of the apps work and channels are scrambled.

Considering the box came with a server set up, is there some setting on the box that may not let these new servers work? Is there a possibility the internet is letting it workk through this specific port?

Ok multiroom enabled means the same line is used by both boxes as the provider allows it. Re: homeplugs make sure you are using them socket to socket. Try not to use extensions
As you bought the box peloaded with connections, can I ask was it from a well known auction site?

I got it off a friend who got them off some guy. I havnt a clue to be honest but my friends boxes are working good.

Is it possible it could be my router? I will try long ethernet cable again. Its put away here somewhere so I will have to find it.

I have tried a couple of things that I have read on here. I tried to turn off the dchp and reboot then turn it back on. But when i turn it off and click apply it says that alternate dns is invalid. What would that suggest?

Menu ccam setup then ccam top left box then select manage then cfg see if old one there if not menu setup ccam top middle box mgcamd then manage newcamd.list delete old one keep new one on exit reboot

There was nothing in the newcamd.list at all.

Well I have gotten one working.

I did a firmware update . Nothing changed except a fewthings in the layout.

When I went into mgcam and into newcam.list, I entered the details i had put in cccam. Most of the scramble channels are back.

I will try with the other box.

One quick question. Is it says invalid program search again. What should I do? I put in the latest channels list update and it still says this on some channels.

Thanks for all your help
