skybox constant reboot

Hi,

i am currently having an issue where my skybox f5s will load to 100 then display the skybox splash screen on the tv, after that the display on the front shows ---- then reboots

any ideas? am i going to have to buy the rs232 cable to re-flash it?

[FONT=Verdana, Arial]Hi when this occurs it is sometimes a dish issue, to prove this please UN plug your dish from the unit and turn on. If it doesn't keep reloading now you know it is something to do with the dish. Check the connections on your coax as 9/10 the inner copper of the coax will be touching the outer copper and causing a short.
Failing that you might need to do a re-flash.[/FONT]

No probs... don't forget to copy everything of box first.

That cable will work, but it's very expensive. A cheap one on Ebay will be OK, but obviously you'll have to wait a few days for it, unless you can find one that dispatches the same day by first class post.
